People. Companies. The stories behind them. Our editorial approach

Our editorial approach

The sources matter.

A clear account of a business career starts with knowing what the evidence supports.

Source selection

We use official company pages, personal websites, original interviews, public records and reporting from established editorial publications. Source links appear on each profile, and numbered references connect the material to the relevant sections.

Official sources establish how a person or company describes a role, a product or an event. We look for independent reporting when a claim needs evidence beyond the subject’s own account. Search-result snippets and AI-generated answers do not serve as standalone evidence.

Business claims and public statements

We distinguish a documented fact from a personal or company claim. First-person accounts are attributed. Revenue, wealth, customer counts, qualifications and results are included only when relevant and supported by suitable sources. Missing details are left out rather than inferred.

A founder’s ownership of a venture does not mean every later title remains current. Role descriptions follow the source material available at review. Readers should consult the linked organization for subsequent changes.

Legal matters

Where legal information is relevant, we distinguish allegations, charging decisions, ongoing proceedings and established outcomes. Criminal allegations are not presented as convictions. Civil proceedings are identified as civil. Claims from the subject or their representatives are attributed, and the account is limited to what reliable source material supports.

Review dates and updates

“Sources checked” records when the profile’s cited material was inspected. It is not a guarantee that every external source is up to date. If an official website could not be inspected, a source note identifies that limitation and the date is labeled an editorial review.

When new reliable evidence changes a role, relationship or other material fact, the account and its references should be updated together. The review date changes when a substantive review is completed. We do not assign invented interview dates or publication histories.

Corrections

Identified factual errors are checked against the underlying evidence before the content is corrected. Substantial corrections should carry a visible note explaining what changed. Minor spelling and formatting fixes do not require a separate correction notice.

This site currently has no dedicated correction-submission channel. A contact channel will be added only after it has been verified.

Inclusion and editorial context

Inclusion in the directory does not imply an interview, an endorsement or a commercial relationship. Profiles describe documented professional backgrounds and business associations rather than recommending a person’s products or services.

Portraits and presentation

The collection uses photographs from Wikimedia Commons, official websites and images supplied by the subject. Photo sources and available license information are linked on each biography. Images may be resized and cropped for display. A photograph or a profile does not imply an interview or endorsement.
